Karuna Karmarkar ~
Karuna Karmarkar was born in Santa Cruz, California and moved permanently to Los Angeles after
earning a BA from UCLA's respected Film & TV program. After taking a high school photography
class taught by an apprentice to Ansel Adams, she developed an interest in creating her own
images. Her visual inspirations include David Lynch, H.P Lovecraft, Edward Hopper and the
historic Los Angeles cityscape
